Terms for using Hermes, a self-hosted personal AI agent.

Personal use

Hermes is a self-hosted personal AI agent, built on the open-source Hermes agent by Nous Research. It is intended for personal use by the single owner who runs it on their own server. It is not offered as a service to the general public.

No warranty

Hermes is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The owner uses Hermes at their own risk.

Your responsibility

The owner is responsible for their own Google account and for their own use of Hermes, including the tasks it performs on their Google data and the AI model providers they configure within the agent. The owner is responsible for complying with the terms and policies that apply to their Google account and to any services they connect.

Google API Services disclosure

Hermes's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
